CiviCRM has two ways for you to contact your constituents via email: Send Mail to Contact and CiviMail. Though the end result is the same, they are created differently and offer different benefits. During our November Featured CiviTip, we will discuss the difference between Sending an Email and a CiviMail Mailing.

Learn how to update a large number of records all at once using "Profiles." For example, let's say you would like to make note that a Thank You note has been sent to all attendees of your event. You don't have to go into each individual record to do this. Use a Batch Update and it's done!

Learn how to create an on-line event page in CiviCRM so that participants can learn about the event and easily register for it from your website. Their data is automatically recorded in CiviCRM, which streamlines the registration process. We will go step by step through the configuration process for creating a new event in CiviCRM and discuss the various registration options.
If you are new to CiviCRM or just need more formalized instruction, consider taking our class on Contact Management this summer to increase your knowledge and learn best practices in CiviCRM. The classes are two hours long and we limit class size to allow for Q&A throughout the course. It's an easy and affordable way to get off to a great start in CiviCRM!
