Online Training: "Contact Management with CiviCRM"

This 2-hour online training session is designed for new users of CiviCRM or organizations who are current users, but have new staff to train and those who are in need of a refresher course.

During this two hour training you will learn how to:

  • Create a contact and learn about the different contact types
  • Manage relationships between contacts
  • Conduct basic and advanced searches
  • Create groups, smart groups and tags/tag sets and understand the differences
  • Perform an action on a group of contacts (send an email)
  • Manage activities
  • Export contact data
  • Create Custom Data sets (custom fields)
  • Find and merge duplicates
  • Create an activity report

You’ll leave this training with new skills as well as best practices for managing contacts in CiviCRM.This training is the first session of a four-part training. The next sessions will be on membership, event and contribution management.

This training will be conducted in CiviCRM 4.4.
