This 2-hour online training session is designed for new users of CiviCRM or organizations who are current users, but have new staff to train or those in need of a refresher course.

During this two hour training you will learn how to:

  • Best practices for adding new contacts and managing relationships between them 
  • Conduct basic and advanced searches
  • Create and understand the differences between groups & smart groups, tags/tag sets and custom fields
  • Send an email and export data into CSV format
  • Manage activities and add new activity types
  • Find and merge duplicates and better understand duplicate rules
  • Create an activity report and include it on your home dashboard

You’ll leave this training with new skills as well as best practices for managing contacts in CiviCRM.This training is the first session of a four-part training. The next sessions will be on membership, events and contribution management.
